Mac or ableton not recognising my axiom 49?

Hi all,

I bought an axiom 49 keyboard today and plugged it in and started using it with ableton and followed the step by step guides and got it working but the buttons were triggering different things etc and i could not get the manual mapping to work at all (just wouldn't assign anything when clicked to do so)

So. i done a system re-set to see if it would change anything and now im in a position where i am further backwards than where i started after 6 hours of solid piddling around! grr.

Now my mac wont even recognise that my keyboard is plugged in?

The only thing that does happen is the keyboard lights up, thats it!

This is so frustrating and i would love for someone to come forward with hopefully a solution.

Did you choose preset 18,19,or 20 on your axiom after you selected the DUMP button in options/preference/midi? If not, try any of those 3 to at least see if Live and your axiom is talking.
