Hi,
anyone know how to create a new track (audio and midi) in Ableton through a message sent by MaxforLive?
I tried looking in the LOM (The Live Object Model), in different reference and in various forums but have not found anything?
thanks a lot,
marvu

If you're on a mac, I would use the aka.keyboard external to simulate apple-T or Shift-Apple-T.

And if you're on windows you could use my keypress external. You can find it on maxobjects.com

ohh, thanks!
It can be a good solution, but I'm trying to make a touchscreen remote control for ableton so It will be better a solution for all the platform..

Nothing is implemented with the LOM for that task.
So maybe you can use both externals and create a patch for each platform, or just a single patch with a switch for mac/windows (if it's possible to load a patch that contain a reference to externals not recognised by your OS)

My tongue spits english like a frog and my head is currently searching for a comprehensive language.
