Warping clips together

Post by Kelpe » Mon May 17, 2010 7:43 pm

Is it possible to apply the same warping actions on more than 1 clip at the same time?

Ie, i have recorded drums on seperate mics and they are all on seperate tracks in ableton. I want to warp and edit the clips without having to do a submix first (which limits flexibility). So is it possible to do warp changes on a "master" clip that would affect all the clips related to it?

cheers

Kel

I believe that as long as all the clips are of exactly the same length, you can select multiple clips and edit them all at the same time. However, I don't think Live shows any waveforms, which makes this point moot.

I haven't found a way to do this but am very much interested in seeing if it can be done. I like recording my acoustic guitar with the direct-in plus a condensor, and having to manually warp clips separately is an iffy proposition, not to mention taking forever.

Is there a way to copy+paste transients/warp points?
