Best soft synth for the "Techy/minimal" side of things???
Im having trouble making a good techy bassline so i thort id look into buying a new soft synth, I'm using massive at the moment but i cant seem to get the sounds out of it that i want and it would be nice to have a bit of variety, Im trying to make those low end bass lines/hooks does any1 know any good 1s?

Operator is perfect for that. Really easy to program.

hmn, i would say just about every softsynth should do the job and massive is pretty good for subby basses
but if i would buy a new synth now - i would go for Zebra2

Most definately the operator. Bring a sine together with a saw (sometimes a sine is 'nuf), add some filter (if there's a saw), get the glide going and you're all set!

ACE would be a good choice for minimal indeed.

Agreed it sounds good, but it's still the biggest cpu pig I've ever encountered.
