record samples from multiple tracks onto one track

Post by tha_metman » Mon May 24, 2010 5:05 pm

Hi,
as the title implies i'm trying to record samples i have from multiple tracks (aka the coloumns in session view) onto one other track. I ask this because when the I/O tab is open it only allows me to select "audio from" one source. i've already tried using search and haven't gotten much use with it.

thanks

Instead, use the 'audio to' box below it, and route the audio from each individual track to one audio bus. Or you can select 'resample' on the bus input and record while playing only the tracks you wish to combine.

resample will record anything (merge) what runs through the master.

select only what you like to merge into new clip and of you go...
