wanna know any ways to automate reaktor ensembles in live.
first of all, i am interesting in automating drumMachines like Limelite.ens / dsq32.ens / and others.
for now, i make it this way -
assign midi notes reaktor ensemble-mute-knobs (on any kick \ snare \ etc) and then record midi sequence of assigned notes in live. i guess there'll be a easy way, couse in that way i cant play song from every moment, couse automation of notes will be another that i expect. and i need to stay all notes off\on on song start to make them sounds right at the moment.
i've tryed to automate these mute-buttons trow live automation possibilities - but it seemd i little bit confusing - all these knobs on kontrollers really automate eveything, but not knobs that i need.
is there any way to select the thing that i need to automate, and then automate it thru envelope drawing? i really need only on\off buttons in dram machines, couse all other things automate pretty well.

first of all: dont use reaktor-drum machines in midi-mode, use it in automation-mode only!
well, its a little work to set the remote -knobs, but if you use a default-song you have to do this only once.
lets start:
open your ensemble, let show the properties-box. click the righest symbol in this box, in the below you ´ll see an area called automation. deaktiviet "hide name", go to "id", pull the menü, and choose "sort and compress".
you see how much paramter your ens have. hack the same or a higher value in the id-field, left from the menü-id. and, if your ensemble use several instrumenst, choose "instrument up".
in some ensembles there are more than 128 ids, i´m not shure, but i believe live only supports 128, eqeul, go to the knob or button you wish to automate, click this and give them in the id-field the number 1. go so on, lets say the numbers 1-8 for all mute-buttons, 10-18 vor all pan, etc,.
now go in the live-plug-view, and "rollout" the plug.
record some changings with the mouse in the reaktor-view. look to the live-plug-view, you will see some red triangles, the first is the mute 1, the second mute 2, etc. it is possible that you dont can read the name, live use this synthhax, to label the reaktor ids: instrument: mainmacro: belowmacro: etc: and yet the knob, fader, button. dont worry, if you "numberd" the ids in the way above, you will find.
last activate in live the midi or key modus, to map your controllers or computer-keys and assign.
impotant: save your reaktor-ens manuelly! NI say it will saved automaticly, but i not see this!
Limelight uses per default midi-notes 60,62.... to mute. if you wish to change this in CC, its a little bit complicate to explain and should diskussion on another site.
