i7 1.6 GHz Laptop or AMD 1055T Desktop...???

i am building a new machine,mobility is not a big issue i can live with a desktop only.

i am thinking about
DELL Studio XPS 16 i7 720QM 1.6 // 4gb ram //320gb drive blah blah blah ->1.160 euro

and

custom built AMD 1055T 6core 2.8GHz // 4 gb ram //500 gb drive //24" monitor blah blah ->845 euro

anyone who is currently working with i7 laptop or AMD 1055T system???experiences??
how does LIVE work with the 6core AMD?

i checked also this huge benchmark list

according to this the 1055T beats the crap out of the mobile i7 720QM but not sure if LIVE can take full advantage of the AMD cpu.
