What's on your wall?

Post by beats me » Fri Jun 11, 2010 12:29 am

It wasn't until about a year or so ago that I realized how much having pictures up can set the mood of your room and yourself. Before then walls were mostly blank, but then I had an "ah ha!" moment and it's become quite the endeavor of creating the mood of the space.

Whenever I've had a particularly rough go at it for the day I just saddle up to the bar and look upon the characters that have put a smile upon my face for one reason or another.

Then about a week ago I came across this picture that (IMO) is the perfect blend of class and trash that I put above my studio corner and already I'm feeling a little more inspired then I would just glancing up at a stark blank wall.

What have you put up to help set the mood? ...whatever mood you are aiming for.

I only have a couple things on my wall other than acoustic treatment.

First up, Satch:

 jesus man. All of my licenses were somehow transferred to my "cyclops" account a while back. I had logged into it earlier today to check something, forgot I was still logged into that account when I posted....

Definite WTF moment for a second there when that pic came up...

So basically Bruce is being wordy with "stop giving a fuck!" :)

What's the story with the Joe pic? I know who Joe is but that's not just a random picture of Joe.

I drew that years ago actually. The first time I hear Satriani in a snowboard film (Board With The World) I knew I wanted to play guitar. That's what started me making music.

My wall is mainly covered in foam pyramid tiles and some of my recent gig flyers and pics of my lil ones and some stikkaz.
