Ok so i haven't had logic long and would like to start using it to mix my completed arrangements in. what's the best way to go about doing this? rewire.... bounce.... Also do i just delete the eq's and compressor and leave the rest of the arrangement to render into logic
would like to hear how other people do this
thanks

Re: composing in live mixing in logic
I bounce midi, crucial audio bits, and save the au presets to reload in Logic.

Re: composing in live mixing in logic
I bounce audio stems out of Live. I like to commit to bits of audio that stand up on their own at that point. I'm careful to make all stem renders thru the same gain structure, so that their mix relationships aren't lost on the way. If I had something on the mix bus of Live while I was working in it - I usually print thru that too. Point being, I try not to open the door to unpicking work already done/decisions already made.

yeah i do it mostly like mr.black, except i still prefer some of the plugins and mixing options in logic to live, so i usually take off most dynamic effects before bouncing to stems. and make sure there is no cheesy multiband compression on your master channel!
