Hello everyone,
When I go to midi map a slider and then change my mind and unmap it Live no longer recognizes the default setting and my slider no longer works at all unless I manually map it again. This of course poses a delmma when I then go to shift the red box over to the right becuse the fader knob will then only control the parameter it is manually mapped to.

Oh,well it seems that restarting Live solved the problem.

Yep, have to restart live after that. The APC functionality is loaded at startup, since you removed the functionality after startup you need to restart live for it to reload the APC functionality, if that makes any sense. It's the same reason why you need to restart live if the APC USB cord is removed.
