korg zero 8? i think i want one of these but would be interested in hearing from anyone who already owns one. is it a worthwhile investment?
Re: feedback... who owns a korg zero 8
depends on kind of uses/ awaiting
+ modularity audio/midi, lot of hardware controls,vu meters, great fast faders, crossfader A_B. really cool live device.
- im not personally fan of eq or fx sounding, correct but no more and touch xy is not really responsive, more a gadget.
AD convertissors are ok but not topnotch, still very descent and if really feel pb can use digital out and better Ad out.
(im globally totally ok, noticed differences over using TC electronic AD , but really minor for live uses)
play live with no latency at all is quite juicy. pb is loose master FX processing from computer, but 0 latency without wiring
tons of wires, on 8 tracks with DJ type faders via just one FW was an old dream for me really preasant to use for a "dj fast cut or crossfade " live type use, not sure the best for a rec/studio type use, still descent too for usual jobs.
it had a huge price drop and can be found second hand with low prices now, i wouldn't have repaid original price (sadly i did)
but it can be a cool buy now, thingz didn't really moved on that modular side with competitors.
