Ableton Live, CDJ, Effects and Same Channel Issues

Hi guys,

I have some troubles setting things up, plugged usb to my laptop, installed ableton live, followed xone manual, picked all the outputs, etc. and now what?

1. When I go to hardware config, I can't see any channel numbers, just white space.

All 8 xone 4d leds are red by the way when turning xone on.

2. Shall I now edit channels or anything via ableton, xone itself so at least I could see equalizer in ableton moving when I play track from CDJ 2k and could use effects, etc? As it appears I can do that only on tracks that are dropped to ableton from my pc rather than cdj

Mid mapping seem to work.

3. Biggest issue: all the tracks I set ableton to play come out from same mixer channel.

Default traktor 4d template worked fine and all decks were playing through all 4 channels.

Yeah, total noob, but there were no other docs when i bought xone 4d, no idea why

Is it possible to play with effects on channel1 lets say if music is coming from cdj but not laptopt mp3?

I want to configure ableton so when I play track on cdj, it would recognize that on ableton.
