Ableton's Drum Machines

hey everyone,

I have ableton suite 8 and was wondering where the other drum machines are besides the 808. I believe it was supposed to have 606, 707, 909, 808, Linndrum, etc. samples but I can't seem to find them.

Are they under the drum rack tab in the browser? It says on my product registration that i own the drum machine pack. I just double checked that my computer is authorized and it is.

You're not wrong, in mine they are in folders under the drum rack tab in live.

Check on the Ableton site under your authorized downloads? You might just not have the actual files that you technically have permission to. Try entering the serial number there. Product Registration or Downloads. Also, see if you have the e-mail from when you bought/authorized the drum machines pack. There may be a link there.

Or, try entering the serial number in live under preferences> Authorizations/Trials tab. That'll do for the unlocking, but the files may have to be downloaded.

Before that, you might try doing a search on your hard drive (if you haven't already) to see if maybe you just have them in the wrong place.

doesnt the drum machine package come with ableton suite? I installed everything that comes with it and i still have nothing. It says im authorized to have it on Ableton's website.

EDIT: I just went to the downloads page and it was there. Ill let you know if it works out.

I think you still have to install the drum machines packages manually, even with the suite version. I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure they're on the disc.

I found out that they were on the downloads page. Ableton should put all that on the cd next time around.
