PDJing: How to play 2 clips in Ableton at the same time?

Hi, is there any way in Ableton to play 2 clips of different tracks at the same time with the mouse?

EXPLANATION: When I dj without a controler(like APC40) and I want to activate 2 clips or more (4,5,6...100?). Is there any way to click 2 or more clips and put them on hold until I select all I want to play so I activate all selected at THE SAME TIME?

EXAMPLE: This way I could select 5 clips, put them on hold until I select the 5 and click play them all together.

Is this posible? How?

If you make the global launch quantize something long like 4 or 8 bars you'll have that long to click all the clips you want.. Hope that helps

You could MIDI-map the clips you want to launch, and then record their launching into a dummy clip using a loopback MIDI device--BUT this is overkill and confusing. Placing them in a row and launching the scene seems to be what you need.
