Remotely Controlling Device and Chain List Buttons?

I'm wondering if there are any M4L devices that allow you to use a midi controller to toggle the "show/hide chain list and devices" or "Auto Select" buttons (and perhaps control the drum rack scroll bar?)

I'm kinda overwhelmed by the different convoluted methods that I've read about. Is Bomes the only option? I heard it's a really steep learning curve.

I considered just saving new presets for everything...but, you know....If I wanted to squander my weekend, I'd rather organize my drum sample library and warp every single song on my computer (which, don't get me wrong, I don't mind doing! )
