Hi,
I recently moved some ableton sets I created from another PC to the PC im currntly using. While the old PC was connected to my home network, I opened and worked on those old ableton sets on the new PC. I then took the PC to another studio so it is no longer connected to my home network. I realize now that I dragged the files onto the desktop instead of copying and pasting. Now when I open ableton on the PC here at home, ableton hangs up and never resolves itself.
I suspect it is looking for those sets I worked on from the old PC to display as "recent sets", but it cant find them because I didn't actually copy and paste the set. I sent this a bug report but have not heard anything back.
As it stands now I can't open ANY set in ableton. As soon as i highlight "file" from the dropdown menu ableton crashes.
Has this happened to anybody else? Any other ideas?
