Are Ableton install discs able to be copied?

I meet a guy on craigslist selling multiple music production progam's, refills, vst's etc very cheep. He told me he is able to rewrite the progam & duplicate these disc. He is selling copies of Ableton Live 8 suite for $50. Is this at all possible?

In the software business, buying illegal copies of a program doesn´t mean that you can use it - without owning
a license for the software you can not use it. There are even impostors selling freely available demo´s of programs
or even freeware itself.

Kleine is correct. Heck, you can even get the install files right off the Ableton website.
