Input style step sequencing in live 7?

Input style step sequencing in live 7?

is there a way to step record notes by inputing them in from a keyboard/controller like you would on a workstation ie Yamaha Motif, Korg triton etc? i want to be able to press record, then hit a note and have it move to the next note to continue inputing. is this possible? i saw it on a you tube video but can't make it happen for me. thanks in advance.

Hi anthonynuzzo,

Step entry recording is possible in Live 8, but not Live 7. One of the major overhauls in Live 8 was of the MIDI editor, and this was one of the added features.
