Cannot choose Multiple Cores in Live 8.1.5 on laptop - weird

I just installed the Demo on a laptop to see how it would run on that. Its a 2.2 GHz lenovo t60 with the t2600 processor
(dual core).

Yet, i cannot select multiprocessor support - and thats bad, because the dual core was why i bought the laptop, and
its entirely for running ableton.

Could it be that its because its just the demo, or have any of you similar experiences.
Please dont tell me that dual core centrino and Live are not compatible...

What OS are you using? I suspect Win XP Home...
