Hello,
I am trying to record a project in arrange and one element in a channel is the max step sequencer. I was wondering if there is a way to record what the sequencer does into the arrange. When I hit record nothing is recorded in the arrange view. Only the clips that are in the slots in session view will be recorded.
The only way i found was to route the midi track with the sequencer into an audio track and arm it. Is this the only way?

Devices come after the clip as far as the signal path goes. So you can't record the output of a track on the same track.david_morin wrote:Hello,
