Hi there!
Me and my friend would like to sync our computers to have a small jam but we are having difficulties.
He has a MacBook Pro running Reason 4 and Novation nio 2/4 usb soundcard
I have a Vista x64 PC running Ableton Live 8 Suite and Emu 0404 internal audio interface.
So far we connected our soundcards with two midi cables and have been playing with preferences both in reason and ableton. It seems like my pc sends midi information to Novation nio but then nothing is happening.
Can someone please give us some tips on how to do it properly? I know one of the computers needs to be master and the other slave but we are not sure how to set it up.
