MAPPING ABLETON EFFECTS ON XONE 4D, A&H USERS HELP!!!!!

Post by sean.goldcamp » Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:02 pm

Soooo, let me be the first to say that I love my 4D ALMOST as much as I have loved Ableton over the years, but now with the 8.1.5 version (i think thats the vers) I have found some problems with midi mapping...

So I have my A and B sends mapped to my fourth fader on each 1D side of the 4D, and all the effects are mapped to the midi knobs and push knobs above.

The effects come through, but the volume is very low on my B send, and although I have it set up IDENTICALLY to my A send, the volume comes through differently..

Is there a better way to do this? Can I have the effects permanently placed on certain audio channels? I would do that for each one of my tracks, but then with the midi mapping I would have seriously limited to only 2 audio channels (midi map, and 1 alternate mapping), and I currently have 3 channels of audio on send A, and 3 channels of audio on send B, with one channel designated for the fx..

PLEASE HELP BEFORE I QUIT DJING AND BECOME A GAS PUMPER DOWN THE STREET...
