Who is Using Live With an Akai MPD16 and an Oxygen 8
Midi-interface
Hi,
The hub thing won't work, because Live is able to use only one midiport.
Therefor you need a midi-interface, but beware, the midisignals of those two devices must be merged.
Ableton, please support multiple midiports.
Thanks!

Another option is MIDI Patchbay:
Very useful when you have a bunch of instruments on different MIDI ports and you want to assign each to its own distinct channel.
You then have one "virtual" MIDI instrument you can assign to Live, Reason, etc.
Sadly, MIDI Patchbay does not save your assignments but a future revision is going to add this feature, says its developer.
And it is free!
