Ableton doesn't record Tassman modulation

Hey there,

last week I bought Tassman 4 and I currently own Live 8.1.5. Today, I tried to record a session containing the Tassman. Yesterday I've read that an automation of the controls is not supported by Ableton but when I arm the track as target, Ableton will record the changes I do live in Arrangement View. Well, it didn't. I played my track and modulated my Tassman-sound 6 minutes and now I recognised it didn't do what I expected
Could it be a reason that I modulated the control using my mouse and didn't map it to a CC?
Hope you help me! It's very frustrating to lose the sounds I played.

Ok, I get the point. How could Live know I'm changing values when they are not configured. I'm going to try that when I'm back at home. Hopefully, I don't have to work too long
