Are Dummy clips possible in Arrangement view?

Curious because I can't get them to work...

but the same technique works in Session

technically it should, it just holds automation parameters and is a clip,

I've managed to use it for vocal effect automation.

Can be a pain in the ass to get down I will admit.

I usually build the dummy clips in session and record them into arrangement and works great.
