I'm starting to record a lot of samples, most of which are not used in a current project. I want to be able to mark these samples with metadata (notes, tags, keywords) and then be able to search them quickly for use in future projects and good organization. Can anybody suggest a good sample browser that supports this kind of workflow?

Hi
Don't be fooled by the fact that the free XnView is primarly dedicated to images : it also allows audio files previewing, tagging, filtering, and duplicate finding, etc.
