a question about multirecording.
hi there,
I'm considering buying live 4, I'd like to know if it is possible to do multirecording,I mean being several, each playing a different softsynth, or some playing midi the others playing acoustic instruments but all recorded together in their respective tracks.
is it possible and is it easy?

It is possible, and it is easy, to record multiple tracks. That, however, is a comment that can go in a million different directions. Search this forum for PLENTY of info.
Good luck!
Good luck!

yes.... but you gotta also consider what audio/midi interface you have... you will be limited more by this than by live.

thanks everybody for replying, I use a multiface and an UM4 so I think it will be okay on that side;-)
and genshi I don't put demo stuff in my computer 'cos I like to have just what i need in it, I don't want to learn computer OS managing. once I have a machine that do what I need I don't touch it. and I have no time to loose to try soft and see after hours that they don't fit me! and what would be the use of forum if it is not to ask questions? please next time don't loose your time, don't read my post.

hi noise! very happy to see you too,:D
it is good to meet friends in a place when you just arrive.
it is funny but I find the mood here different from "you know where";) can't explain why, maybe it is because the discussions are about something I don't know yet but it seems to be cool:-)
I've read that the editing was a bit hard in live:-/ but I think I gonna buy it just wait after hollidays, check my cash then buy live 4 and a dell latitude d800 (2.1Ghz,1Go ram) it just have 2USB port but I hope I'll be able to a hub to get more port and I hope it is not noisy, does anyone get one?
I 've been messing around a little bit see that humeka is there also is there other people we know here?
