running sibelius midi into live via iac bus?

Hey all -
I know this is possible, as I've done it before, but cannot seem to reproduce my steps.
I have Sibelius 6, and the MIDI is currently set up to go through my IAC bus.
So I go into Ableton, and when I play the file from Sibelius, I can see the midi track in indicator light up. However, on actual MIDI tracks, there is no midi signal coming from the IAC bus line.
If I go into Live preferences and set the IAC bus input to "remote," I can then go into MIDI map mode, and all of the midi notes come through. But I don't want them to map certain controls, I just want them to play a midi device!
Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? Has anybody else successfully set up an Ableton/Sibeilus MIDI sync through IAC?

Never mind. Apparently all I needed to do was restart my computer and all is working as it should. Phew!
