Take that, haters.

I don't normally post something like this, but I'm honestly impressed at the rate Ableton are releasing these updates. And now a free effect. Bravo chaps.

Guys on the latest version screens prior to download you may wish to lose the references to the new racks and presets for AMP when your downloading 8.2 without suite... Or is that intentional?

Cheers

Can you please just fix the bug that the track headers do not retain their previously automatically given names when adding tracks from old session folders? Do you know how freaking annoying it is to have HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of unnamed tracks from live 6/7 session files, which previously had names, and which I no longer can tell what the tracks were?
I have asked written posted everywhere. PLease, please fix this.

What bugs are fixed in 8.2?

I was under the impression that all effort would be on fixing bugs...
Live + M4L, MacBookPro & Ultralite mk3. Plugins from Softube, Soundtoys, Eventide, 2CAudio, Cytomic, AudioDamage, OhmForce, FabFilter, SonicCharge, Waves, MadronaLabs, NI and ExpertSleepers. Oh, and a bunch of hardware... =D

their effort is about fixing bugs. the new effects got built externally. but yeah, i hope to see another list of fix updates. they're always fun to read :) (but i do guess that it's not that big of a change from the previous last 8.1.x release. just now with the new stuff enabled)

where's the 'without content' link?
just grabbed the only link available, which was 900mb (!)
the disk image has 'with content' in the file name, so is there a hidden 'without content' image anywhere?
previously you could choose between content/no content versions... no more?

I think that was because there was no changes to the library / content

I just downloaded the 900mb one too, just let it do its thing then delete the library after it installs, that's what I did.

Cool! Looking forward to trying Amp (don't you just love how succinctly Ableton name their devices?) - I've had it up to
here with IK plugins crashing all the time (and I can only use my Line 6 plugins with my Line 6 controller, on my desktop,
which I'm almost never around...)

Downloading (and hoping 8.2 is as good as - or better than - 8.1.5).

nice one guys

is this version another file type changer like 8.1.3?

i.e. can I save files and still open them in 8.1.5 if I need to?
