Looking for Sample Pack for DJ's

Post by BoxDJ » Wed Sep 29, 2010 8:45 pm

Hey everyone, I've searched everywhere and I haven't been able to find a sample pack that is geared for hits in remixes/songs. Stuff like "here we go", sirens, bad needle drop, etc.

Anyone know where I can find something like this?

I thought beatport has an entire section or "genre" that is nothing but this type thing.

A great resource for what you're looking for is the Free Sound Archive: http://www.freesound.org/

Note that everyone on Free Sound has a Creative Commons license requiring attribution. Also, if you plan to use any of the samples from Free Sound for ads or commercials, you'll need to get in direct contact with the person who uploaded the samples and work something out. More info on licensing here: http://www.freesound.org/rules.php

It's a good resource to start with. There are also plenty of premium samples available to purchase out there.

Because I do more than just post on the forum. But I do like the idea of creative titles.
