Trying to set up Nord lead 2x into Abelton

Hey,

I am new to Abelton, and i having truoble setting my nord keyboard into abelton. I am using a M-Audio (fast track pro) as my audio interface. I have my MIDI out going from the nord, to the MIDI in, on the audio interface. I have the MIDI out on the audio interface going into the the MIDI in on the nord. I also have cables going from outs "a" and "b" on the nord, to the inserts on the M-Audio fast track pro. I then have cables going from the outputs on the Fast track pro into each of the speakers. That sounds correct to me? What, if anything am i doing wrong there?
My next problem is in Abeltons preferences, under Audio. There is a place where i select what control surface i want to use, and there is a huge list of a bunch of different control surfaces ( which i have none of them). Am i suppossed to have one of these?
I can control all of the VST's that i have in abelton, but i cant get any of the nord sounds. I havent yet to see anything in abelton that says NORD. What am i doing wrong?

I have already found that. i get a signal but no sound from the nord.

I presume you've found an answer for this already but you just select your soundcard as the audio input/output decice, then you'll hear sounds when you press record on an audio channel in ableton. I was searching to try and find a way to select the nord lead 2x as a midi controller for ableton live. Any ideas?
