****Help-a-newb**** Doubling the tempo

Working on a track that has a 72bpm tempo and would like to turn the track into a 144bpm dub-step track. Sounds possible to do, just wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to make it easier. Its a mix of loops and midi. thanks

bounce it all down to one Audio track, then hit the *2 button on that audio track in the clip view

Thanks!!! I'll give that a try!.... earlier I tried throwing an unwarped 144bpm drumloop strait in and it was less than successful

Cant you just increase the tempo with the tempo slider? the midi clips would be translated to the new tempo and the audio clips will be too if they are set to warp mode, i believe. Theres probably something i'm not getting, but this way you still have all of the individual clips and tracks and can further tweak it to the nwe tempo.

Sammich is correct no need to bounce anything. Simply double your global tempo, and double the tempo of the clip with *2 in the warp section. As long as the audio is warped properly you should have no problem. Be sure to setup the warp mode to complex if you are warping a fully mixed track or it will sound chopped up. By default warping happens on the transients if I recall correctly.
