Ok, I can't start up Ableton 4. it's asking me for a doc found at...
Documents and settings/user name/applicaion data/ableton/live 4./preferences/preferences.cfg.
I can't even find the application data folder, I've searched and I don't think it exsists. I did however find a folder from an earkier version of live and it did have the 'preferences.cfg.' doc in it, so I deleated it. But nothing has changed, I still get the warnings! and no start up! Even tryed a full re-install, but no joy... any help greatfully accepted.
Ok, Help anyone!!!

What OS are you on?
Make sure you're logged in as the same user you used to installed Live. (Unless you installed it "for all users". Then it wouldn't matter.)
I'd just reinstall it over the top of itself, but I see you already did that. I don't think it should even be asking for that file, as it will generate it if it's not there... Ableton has asked me (and countless others on the forum here) to delete it in the past as a troubleshooting step.

Hi Dela,
(assuming you're on Windows) this folder is hidden by default and therefore also excluded from searches. I the search options you can turn
on a switch that also hiiden items are considered.
