New soft sampler: Shortcircuit

Post by noisetonepause » Thu Dec 30, 2004 2:58 pm

Heya people!

One of my mates wrote this thing - it's a software sampler that's NOT made for library playback but for creative sampling and it looks really great. PC only, so I've yet to try it myself, but a Mac version is being looked into and I can't wait :)

There's a free, 2-note polyphonic version and a fully functioning one for 120 euro.

Not exactly new - known about it for ages, 120Euro's is a bit steep though when EnergyXT can be bought for £20, and has a sampler that kicks ass!

I tried it and really liked it, but I noticed the envelopes don't seem to be very fast: I loaded the same sample in Shortcircuit and Simpler and the sample sounded snappier in Simpler.

Anyone else notice this?
