apc 40 issue macbook pro with lite version.

I have previously had my APC40 up and running with Live lite but now it seems not to recognise it (no red box around the scenes, it does however still have my mappings of midi that work,just the red box has dissapeared and when i put a track in ableton the clip launch over view does not recognise it on the apc!! what the hell... please somebody help me.

Do you have the APC40 selected as a control surface? Under Preferences->MIDI.
