Whats the diff. btwn live and studio 8?

I know this may be an amateur question. What is the difference between Ableton live 8 and studio 8?

I know studio has more sounds to offer, but is one more for effects than the other?

Any info will be great, to decide which one to get.

If you're asking about the difference between Live8 and Suite 8, then here's the breakdown:

Ableton Live 8 includes Ableton Live 8, plus the instruments Impulse and Simpler. If you buy the boxed version, you'll also get the Essential Instrument Collection 2.

Ableton Suite 8 includes everything from Ableton Live 8, plus the following instruments and effects:
Operator
Sampler
Analog
Tension
Electric
Collision
Amp
Drum Machines
Latin Percussion

If you buy the boxed version of Suite 8, you'll also get the Essential Instrument Collection 2 and Session Drums.

The instruments that come with Suite 8 are also all available to purchase individually.

thats a good reason to upgrde gaining all them synths but the same cant be said for ppl thinkin of upgrading from intro to live 8 cos the difrences are crap u only gain 5 effects and sum unlimited usage on certain things u dont get any new instruments by upgrading wich is bollox cos ive got live 8 but wish i jus got intro now.
