i'm about to buy an apc20 for playing live with my band and to control traktor when dj-ing.
looking at the comparison chart the apc edition should be enough for the start but i'm unsure at some points.
1. do i have 8 midi-channels AND 8 audio-channels or 8 channels at all (e.g. 3 midi-channels + 5 audio-channels)?
2. are there any effect-racks included or can i load effect-(or instruments)-racks created with the 30 day-trial of live.
3. if so, do they count as ableton-effects and -instruments (as i can only use 8 of each).
4. do i have 2 in/outputs or 4 (2x stereo)?
5. is there a way to change presets of au-plugins (instruments and effects) on clip-change? i tried this with the demo-version but couldn't find a way (or some hint in the manual).
6. are there really 20 scenes? this would be so much better then the 8 scenes in live intro.
of course i'd like to upgrade to the full version later, but money is tight as a student.
