Studio Electronics ATC-1 Control

Post by jack rock » Sun Nov 14, 2010 2:42 am

I put together a midi device to control most of the parameters on the Studio Electronics ATC-1.

Go check it out, if you have one of those babies ... :D

Please do!

Just out of curiosity: Does this device work with the ATC-X?

Not tried yet - But I should think it will do partly as the ATC-X is an extension of the ATC-1. I think they even share the same firmware.

badd assssssssssssss!

i have no idea about max coding but really wanted to learn how just so i could make a panel for the ATC-1. Would be great if you could add filter cartidge selection which is cc#75 for those of us with the internal filters!

Fyi, for all the things that don't have cc control there is sysex, that's how SoundQuest have managed to make a complete ATC-1 controller vsti. i got a copy of some sysex stuff from one of the guys at Studio Electronics but it wasn't a whole lot of use because it didn't have the full sysex strings... I'm going to contact him again soon to ask if he has any more info. do you think it would be possible to add this stuff at a later date if i could get hold of the info?

thanks so much :)

p.s. a guy also made a vst version that could be interesting for you to look at
