Just wanted to say thanks guys, two tracks just got signed!
Just wanted to say thanks, don't post often in here but I do troll a lot and learn from you guys. Just had two tracks signed today (my first two actually) and I wouldn't have done it with out you.
Cheers and thanks again!

Maybe you could give something back to the community by telling people how you went about getting the tracks signed. You just send some out on spec? You have a relationship with a label as a dj/remixer? You don't have to give your name or the label but just an honest account of how you got the tracks from DAW to release would be nice.

Yeah I think it's great to learn trick and thought from each other but to learn business from each other is very valuable.Nephew wrote:Just wanted to say thanks, don't post often in here but I do troll a lot and learn from you guys. you gave me nostalgia. i got signed because of the help from all the people here and most importantly the wonderful product that the Ableton crew made.Nephew wrote:Just wanted to say thanks, don't post often in here but I do troll a lot and learn from you guys. Not much to say, got an email from the label owner saying he just started a new sub label and that he heard a couple of my tracks on soundcloud and thought that they would be perfect for the new label. The label is a sublabel of a small but well respected techno label who is releasing deeper, more groove based stuff. I was pretty shocked to be honest when I got the email but it goes to show if you just stay honest to yourself, don't try and follow any trends and just keep at it good things will happen.
