what are your strategies in constructing live arrangements that are best to handle on stage?
Just putting together some minimal house thing. Lots of short, pretty repetetive loops. So there's need for lots of fx. So now how do I group my scenes?
All pads, leads, bassline and beats each in their respective row and fx on each row containing a loop that I want to have fxed at some point in my set (even if its the same effect and I want to use the same midi controller for it all the time). Or put all elements that need fx in the same row but thus have less overview in the mix.
What about send channels? Put leadsbass and subbass on one send to easily adjust the complete bass vol or rather leave them seperate? What about beats? All on one send (hh, bd, sn) or better leave the bd out for other fx. Could also use two sends for the beats. But thats to complex for easy use..
So as you can see I am not really sure here, most of the time combining these techniques. But I really would like to hear how other people do it, to maybe get some new ideas..
