Need help with shortcuts...

I'm using live 8. I looked all over the manual and video's and I can't figure out how to assign a shortcut command to a function that does not have a button on the screen.
Is there a way to pull up a menu of all assignable functions inside Live?

If I want to reassign the zoom in zoom out keys, to cmd+(forward, back), I can't just hit keymap because there's no GUI button map it to.

I'd like to do some re-assigning so I can create some continuity between the logic9 key commmands and the live8 commands. So how can I access a list of all assignable commands?

can't. all shortcuts are listed on the foldout in the back of the paper manual and inside the manual itself.

the ability to assign a knob to zoom control was put out there less than a week from when we first tried it. it's a known well wanted request.
