Recording Vocals with an Mbox

Post by threesixty » Sat Jan 08, 2005 11:19 am

Everytime I record vocals with my Mbox in Live 4, the vocal is slightly delayed on playback. I understand that the mbox delays things by 164 samples but Pro Tools le compensates for that in the program itself.

In Logic you can shift back audio by samples to get things to line up but how do you do that in Live 4? Is anyone out there using an Mbox to record vocals succesfully?

switch "auto" to "off" on armed record channel... and make sure you follow the 'adjusting latency' thing as set out in the manual.
