volume

Im looking for some tips on boosting the volume. some files are still quiet with the volume nearly turned all the way up. Also whats a good dither to use?

Use compressors and limiters.

Compressor, Limiter, Gate, and Multiband Dynamics will help here. Also, if you just need another gain stage to uniformly boost the audio, use Utility.

yes I used a compressor to bring a kick out of the red levels also adjusted with an eq now the track is super quiet and O need to bring the volume to 10 just to hear it. Ill try the limiters and gates too,thanks.
