Hello, a friend and i are trying to swap sessions and work out of both our studios.. He has a PC running Live 8.0.3 I have a Mac G4 and a maudio profire running Live 8.2.1. I just downloaded live 8 upgrading from 7 last week to make sharing a session possible.. When I load the session from my friend everything comes up fine, i can edit and mix but when i try to enable a track or sometimes even select input source or save the session it says "...aif could not be opened" and will not allow me to proceed. Any ideas?!?
I know the aif files are there.. I can navigate to them and besides it will do this for a brand new track i create and when i go to enable it it says the aif file for that new track i just created can not be opened.. I dont get it.
Thanks,
Chris

It could be that the aif file is part of a protected pack, from an add-on or Partner Instrument that you don't own. Have you checked with your friend about this?
