Can I update my Live APC Edition?

Ok so, I have two versions of Live. One that came with my Akai APC40, and one with my Akai MPK25. I use the APC edition because it is limited to 20 rows instead of 5 rows with Live Lite 8.2.1. I have tried to update my APC edition to 8.2.1, and it keeps giving me Live Lite with 5 rows maximum. I would like to update from 8.1.2 to 8.2.1, but I refuse to sacrifice 75% of my rows. Is this possible?

? well anyway. I just use 8.1.2 permanently now.
