Hey guys,
I think this is my first post, thanks for reading. I searched for a topic such of this but didn't find what I was looking for. Apologies if it's been covered already.
I am making a bootleg. I started with an old funk song, ableton did a decent job of warping it. I used this to make a whole bootleg.
Now I have found a way better quality copy of the same song. Both the initial copy, and the new one have the same starting positions, but when I replace the file using the manage session window it does not replace it with the right timing, it is about a 1/4 beat off, and all the regions aren't lining up right...
Does anyone have any advice?
I brought the new copy into ableton even and made sure the starting position was right, clicked save to update the .als. and still no luck... I have about 60 regions of this song all chopped up, and re-syncing everything will be a huge pain, so just seing if there is a way to do this easily.
Thank you.
Problem with replacing a song in my session
