I currently use Pro Tools LE and Reason on a Digi001 on a G4 Mac. I'm sick to death of PT not having rewire support and I'm now looking for a rewire host.
Considering I've been looking at LIVE as a possibility for my gigging setup, i was wondering if there is any news or opinions regarding multitrack recording straight to disk using LIVE? I'm assuming it cant be done now but is this a possibility in the foreseeable future?
Does LIVE work well now as a Reason host?
I would love to be able to record my Reason sessions thru LIVE to disk as AIFF's in multitrack format and then input these files into PT for mixing. When finished in PT I could then put the audio back into LIVE for gigs. This way I wouldn't have to buy and learn another Sequencer package with Rewire support as i love using PT for mixing and I have too much money tied up in Plug-ins.
