Problems with vst scanning (Live Lite 8.2.1)

I got a new computer and installed Ableton Live Lite (Fender Mustang Amp version). Then I installed Yellow Tools instrument and accidentally choosed Ableton to scan the whole computer to scan for the vst's. The result is that Ableon tries to scan the whole system and crashes or I get different error messages. And it won't simply start. Is there some configuration file or similar to delete and then be able to start the program or should I uninstall/install again?

Are you on a Mac or PC?
You can find the preferences on a Mac in Library -> Application Support -> Ableton I think.
Just delete the "preferences.cfg" file and It'll work again. Had the same problem before.
