Disabled trial version 8 and now 7 has issues

I currently run off 7 and when I purchased launchpad I downloaded the trial for 8. I did not like I could not save sets and removed. Now my 7 will not let me close sets or open new ones. Help please!

Hi, did you modify and save any of these sets when you have the Live 8 trial? The .als file format has changed since 8.1.3, so you won't be able to save them again in Live 7.
