Hi, I am trying to record into live on my ibook.
Basically, I am playing a live set out of the headphone socket through an fx pedal, into my amp and back via an Imic into a single audio channel.
It sounds fine whilst playing but the recorded file always has noise and a level of feedback.
Has anybody got any ideas on how to reduce or elimate this?
Thanks

Get youself a proper audio card interface... With the current setup you will always get noise... Noise from onboard audio card/pedal/onboard mic= lots o noise...
Plus why not use Lives onboard FX or use a 3rd party free vst FX...

Re: Live recording trouble
to eliminate the feedback, you'd have to turn off monitoring for the track you're recording on.jmatt wrote:Hi, I am trying to record into live on my ibook.
